Welcome to Compassionate Living
Therapy/Counselling in Lincolnshire
Are you looking for help with stress, depression, panic, anxiety, worry, phobias, anger, low self confidence or any other similar kinds of problems? If so, I can offer therapy and counselling that can be of enormous help.
How can therapy be helpful?
Sometimes problems can feel overwhelming and affect our self confidence. The therapy I offer can help you to understand why things have been a problem to you and offer you a way to solve them.
Therapy with me can be an opportunity to learn practical skills that you can keep for life. This can help increase your sense of self confidence in coping with the ups and downs of everyday living. You may already have found some ways to help yourself and would still like the opportunity to see if there is anything else you could try.
My name is Allie Phipps and I am a creative and experienced therapist who specialises in depression, panic, anxiety, phobias, stress, low self confidence / low self esteem and many other problems. I offer a confidential and individual approach using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and other techniques to help you with your problems.
I offer a free 30 minute consultation to find out more. This can be by telephone, face to face or via Skype/Facetime.
There are so many different therapies to choose from so it can be difficult to know where to start. CBT is now recommended by the NICE guidelines as one of the most helpful ways to overcome problems like depression and anxiety.
Over the last twenty years I have gained extensive training, experience and qualifications including: a BSc (Hons) Degree in Human Psychology; a Diploma with distinction in Cognitive Therapy, further training in Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Approaches from Bangor University and also in Mindfulness and Self Compassion.
I am based in Horncastle - Tuesdays to Fridays. This is quite central to the county, and the venue offers a smaller town location with free parking.
I also offer sessions in Lincoln on a Monday. This venue offers convenience for those closer to the city. It is situated close to the museum/art gallery, and has two car parks within very easy walking distance
For your peace of mind, I am a BABCP accredited therapist. You can find my details on the BABCP website.
Contact with me will remain confidential and I will do everything I can to help you achieve the most out of your sessions.
